FOZL Group Establishes China Headquarter in Suzhou to Foster Friendly Trade Relations between China and Singapore

On February 22, 2023, the Suzhou Opening & Innovation Development Investment Promotion Symposium was successfully held in Singapore. During the event, several areas under Suzhou’s jurisdiction, including Taicang, Kunshan, Wuzhong District, Xiangcheng District, Huqiu District (Suzhou High-tech zone), signed cooperation agreements with Singaporean companies. 14 industrial investment and technological innovation projects, as well as 16 professional services and cross-border investment projects, were signed for Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). As one of the 16 professional service agencies, FOZL Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with SIP, committed to working together to advance the development and construction of FOZL’s Chinese headquarter. This collaboration aims to facilitate economic and trade exchanges between Chinese and Singaporean companies, ultimately fostering stronger mutual friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. Zhang Xumin, Embassy Minister of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Gabriel Lim, Permanent Secretary of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, Mr. Cao Lubao, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Secretary of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee. Singaporean business chambers, associations, and representatives from the business community, totaling over 400 people, were also in attendance.

As the flagship project of cooperation between governments of China and Singapore, SIP will celebrate its 30^th anniversary of development and construction in 2024. FOZL Group believes that, SIP will continue to thrive and achieve even greater success.
