Applicant’s Documents
EP applicants are required to prepare the following documents:
- A personal details page in the applicant’s passport, or one of the following if the name in the passport differs from other documents: Letter of explanation and supporting documents such as deeds
- An affidavit
- An up-to-date business overview or instant information about the company’s registration with ACRA
- Educational credentials, such as degrees

Other relevant documents that may be required by the Ministry of Manpower include:
- Personal details of work history
- Details of the two highest qualifications
- Spouse information, details of spouse’s highest two degrees.
If the applicant is a regional representative of an overseas company, it will also require:
A letter of approval for the establishment of a representative office in Singapore by a Singaporean company and a letter on behalf of the office headquarters stating:
- Purpose of the application
- The duration of the candidate’s assignment
- Assurance of maintenance and repatriation of the candidate.

If you are in the F&B industry, you will need:
A copy of the Food Shop Licence issued by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
If you have a new establishment and don’t have the licence yet, you can submit a copy of the “Application for Food Shop Licence” letter issued to you by SFA.
